The book is centered around Smith's huge crossover hit, "Place in this World." The song speaks from the perspective of someone just trying to find where they belong and what there purpose is in life. It is that direction that Smith takes in his book as he writes to hopefully provide clarity and direction through his own testimony, stories, and experiences from others to help. He divides up the book into four parts: place, purpose, passion, and plan. He reminds the reader of the goodness of God and how God plants things in our spirits for a purpose. He calls the seeker to be faithful where he is in what he can do unless he feels God calling him to make a big move. As Smith says, big things happen all the time for God, but they're not considered big because they aren't recognized on earth. God never forgets however.
The book is an easy read and a good read. Again, I think it's probably better suited for teens and probably young adults, but it's still a great reminder to everyone who at one time or another, regardless of age or past success, wonder where they belong in this crazy world. Good read!
