Ron was given a 2% chance to live beyond 5 years after his cancer was discovered and yet God did a miracle. His testimony is just another example of the power of prayer and faith. Ron is a living testimony and no doubt people have been changed by his life.
One part of the book that disturbed me greatly was when Ron was talking about looking for a church that would practice what the book of James says in terms of praying for the sick. The Apostle James stated in chapter 5 of his epistle that the sick person should come before the church and the elders would lay hands on him and anoint him with oil and he would recover. When Ron talked to one pastor about this, he responded that they really didn't do that stuff at his church. When Ron found a church that believed the whole Bible, he joined it, they prayed for him, and the rest is testimony.
God save us from "churches" who have a form of Godliness but deny the power thereof. Don't claim Christ or church status if you don't believe and practice the whole Bible. It just really makes no sense.
