Now don't quit reading yet. The authors don't bash the church or its methods. It's not that kind of book. Instead, they go on a quest to engage pastors and leaders to think outside the box and learn to tailor new methods which empower, engage, and equip believers to be the Christian they are supposed to be. They deal with the need to refocus on spiritual disciplines and the need for team ministry. They focus on church atmosphere and evangelistic focuses.
Overall, the book isn't ground breaking in its surveying and findings, but it is a great book to either glean ideas from or either confirm ideas that you may be trying to put in place.
