Garrison deals mostly at the beginning of the book with the responsibility of all to be disciples of Christ. He demonstrates through scripture that discipleship is congruent with maturity in our faith and relationship with Christ and His people. Garrison does a great job of unpacking the traditional definition of discipleship by making it more applicable and further reaching that the old adage of simply reading your Bible and praying. Garrison encourages the reader to change and to continue to change and the changing process is an outward sign of an inward maturity.
All in all it was a pretty good book.
