All this month, I’ll be preaching on what grace is as defined by scripture. The Bible actually tells us that there are four functions of grace: saving grace, justifying grace, teaching grace, and enabling grace. This Sunday morning, I’ll open the series starting with “Enabling Grace.” When we operate in Christ’s grace, we become enabled to do the extraordinary and see things that will ultimately blow our minds. Will continue in the next sermon with seeing just how amazing grace is that saves wretches like you and me. Will go deeper and see how God’s grace justifies us as if we’ve never sinned and empowers us to do amazing things. Lastly, we’ll discover that grace is very much a teacher and its teaching can make or break a relationship with Christ.
I invite you to be a part of this month of sermons on “Defining Grace.” I believe it will change your life. I believe you’ll find yourself in love and empowered through a deeper walk with Christ as you tap into God’s grace in your life and for your life. We all need grace. Don’t miss this series. Be at Bell Street Church of God all August. Bring someone with you. Bring yourself.
Have I mentioned that it just might change your life . . . ?
