Weaver writes this book as a third book actually of her trilogy dealing with the family from Bethany, that is, Mary, Martha, and Lazarus. In this book, Weaver encourages the reader to awaken to the love and mercy of Jesus Christ. Taking the story as recorded in John 11 and breaking it up to reveal Christ's decisions in dealing with Lazarus, Weaver makes the connection of Christ still dealing with His children in much the same ways. In this example, sometimes Christ appears to be late to our crisis. Sometimes Christ requires us to believe and act on our faith before miracles comes. These and other truths were brought out in the book.
It was very well written and a very easy read. It would be a great group study especially for women as Weaver definitely writes with a focus on women. Great book for men too though!
