All that said, the book seemed to drag on. Many of the principles and points Jakes made in the first 150 pages seemed to be repackaged and restated throughout the rest of the book (almost another 150 pages). In that, some of the high points got lost and I got bogged down reading it. I love to hear Jakes preach, but I often find that I get bogged down about half way through his books. After reading four, this is becoming the norm for me.
I would still recommend it because he makes some really good points, but I'm starting to think his writing style and my reading style aren't necessarily the same. Still the man is brilliant in many ways and he definitely has a wealth of wisdom that anyone can learn from.
