This is pathetic and disgusting. In the article they list out their focus for the days of prayer and on one day in particular, they pray for peace and clouds of love to rest upon all in the clinics. The most disturbing notion is that they are praying to God for blessings on the senseless, selfish, and barbaric murdering of innocent, defenseless babies. And they believe in this!!!
I don't know how many more signs of the times the church will need before we stand up and fight. Will we just continue to pray in our churches for God to turn the tide or will we get active in stopping this monstrosity? Don't get me wrong. Prayer absolutely changes things, but faith without works is also dead. The church can help in many ways. For one, we can begin to care for pregnant mothers by offering support, assistance, and compassion. Second, we can write letters to our congresspeople on the state and national levels. Third, we can refuse to support political candidates or businesses that support Planned Parenthood and other abortion agencies. An old fashioned boycott you say? Maybe. But one thing is for sure, we must make our voice heard.
It appears we're about to enter into a Presidential election in November where there is no clear cut easy choice for the most powerful position in the world. On one hand, our current president supports abortion. On the other hand, his likely challenger claims he doesn't support abortion, but his laundry list of political decisions, speeches, and actions prove otherwise. In this election, it appears there will be no front runner for the staunch anti-abortionist to choose. If indeed this is the case, then we can probably expect regardless of who the President is for the next four years, very little will be done on a national level to stop abortion. This means it must start in the grassroots efforts of small towns, rural communities, and even urban settings. It must start in churches and Christian organizations.
I would implore us all to certainly be much in prayer against this bold faced mockery of Christian principles and Biblical foundations. May we not pray against the people, but rather pray for them. But may we definitely pray against this spirit of Molech that is sweeping the land and may we pray for God to open doors of opportunity that we may stop it in its tracks.
