"Starting and Closing" by John Smoltz
The greatest thing about Smoltz, and he covers it really well in the books, is his faith. He's very honest about where he was before finding Christ and where he is today. He grew up as one who was taught right and wrong and to make good moral choices. Yet he came to a point where he realized he wasn't good enough on his own and that he needed a Savior. Smoltz pursued his faith like he pursued a win or a save and it has led him to open a private Christian school, serve on the boards of charities and other schools, become a renowned speaker, and now author. This was a great book and a very easy read. I highly recommend it.
