Idleman describes the process of these "AHA" moments from the alarms that God sets off to try and dissuade us from continuing on our course of action and decision to the attitudes we must conquer within ourselves to truly accept that we are wrong and need help to turn our lives around before its too late. Idleman even writes about what to do when a person has hit "rock bottom" and encourages the reader that "rock bottom" isn't a prerequisite to turning one's life around.
I will more than likely develop either a sermon series or teaching series from this book as I made many notes of certain aspects of the parable and Idleman's solutions I'd like to explore further. I would say this book is a needed read for everyone. It will encourage you to take action in your own life regardless of where you are on your journey. It's never too late for an "AHA" moment!
